Commodore Ballroom

The Commodore Ballroom is one of Student Center鈥檚 premier spaces and can seat up to 800 people. The stunning 9,000-square-foot venue with adjoining catering facilities is perfect for hosting dances, dinners, and large social events. With its flexible design, the ballroom can be divided into three equal sections, accommodating a variety of event sizes and formats.

Room Configurations

The Commodore Ballroom is a large, versatile space with many options for configuration. This room can be split into three different sections, upon request, but it is most popularly used as one room.

It features an LCD projector and screen and a lectern with a microphone and laptop connection. Additionally, there are options for pipe and drape, stage lighting, and specialty lighting. There is a pre-reception area outside of the ballroom and access to a catering kitchen.

There are 3 stage options: small (16鈥� by 8鈥�, 1-2 speakers), medium (24鈥� by 12鈥�, 2-3 seated panelists or 1 table), large (32鈥� by 12鈥�, award ceremony or panel of 4), or runway.

Services and Requirements

Setup/teardown changes to the furniture layout can be done upon request, and basic housekeeping services are included.

This space requires an AV technician on-site to set up basic lighting, assist clients with connecting to the projection system, and make basic audio level adjustments during the reserved time of your event. Additional fees may apply for extra AV setup time.

Digital Signage for Events

This space offers digital signage options to enhance the visibility and professionalism of your event. These screens can display event logos, images, and messaging, creating an engaging environment for your attendees. If you want to utilize digital signage for your event, contact your Event Manager to discuss options and next steps, review digital signage policies, and submit the Digital Signage Submission Form.
