Overview
The purpose of these training modules is to equip student leaders with the tools and resources to navigate finances, host events, and manage their respective registered student organizations. These trainings do not replace any standing trainings that an organization may have with their advising department.
Asynchronous Trainings
Trainings for student organizations are available in Oracle Learn to understand how to make purchases, reserve spaces, apply for funding and complete RSO registration.
- Finance Training 鈥 Covers funding, purchasing, and approval processes
- Event Planning Training 鈥 Covers event registration, space reservations, and logistics
- START (SOLS) Training 鈥 Overview of campus resources and tools for student org leaders
Required By Role
- Making purchases: Finance Training (before submitting requests)
- Planning events/reserving space: Event Planning Training
- RSO Presidents: START (SOLS) Training (for registration)
Not required for Graduate/Professional RSOs
How to Access Trainings
- Go to the Logins page and select 鈥淪kyVU and other HR Logins鈥
- Log in with your VUNetID
- Open the Learning Hub in Oracle
- Search for:

- Student Centers:听
- START:听听
After completion, download your certificate via the 鈥淎ctions鈥 鈫 鈥淧rint Certificate鈥 option and keep it for your records, as they may be needed for future reference or uploads for RSO Registration.
